Prince Albert
MacDowall and St. Louis are both about 20 minutes away from Prince Albert, which is the third largest city in Saskatchewan and functions as a service, retail and distribution centre for northern Saskatchewan’s resource industries – mining, forestry and agriculture. Everything you need can be bought in Prince Albert but occasional trips to Saskatoon provide extra opportunities for the determined shopper or just a change from what the local shops offer. MacDowall is about 1 hour from Saskatoon, so a day trip is perfectly possible.
